LOMBOK

BALI AND LOMBOK ,,,,, two sister island, each unique in their own right, yet together forming a combination of of tropical delights unsurpassed in the world. bali, with its fabulous shopping, world-class resort, and cosmopolitan restaurants and nightclubs. LOMBOK, with its stunning beaches,laid-back flair and unspoiled natural scenery.... together they form the ultimate holiday twosome......

" YOU CAN SEE BALI IN LOMBOK, BUT YOU CAN'T SEE LOMBOK INI BALI!!!!"

Although Lombok has long been a favorite with european traveller, it is only now emerging as a holiday dstination internationally, and is still a relatively undeveloped and unspoiled island.
" high seasons" in lombok run from mid july to mid september and mid december to mid january ; the rest of the year the island is much quieter than bali and "travellers in the know" take advantage of the lack of crowds and bargains to be had at the better hotels and resort

the island of lombok is almost as large bali and like her famous sister, has a wide range of attractions and activities for all types of travellers. all around the coastline, the beaches are exceptionally clean, with unpolluted water bordered by large stretches of sand, usually fringed with coconut palms. drive almost anywhere and you can be assured of your own personal deserted beach.

the main areas of tourism development are in senggigi, on the west coast; the gili islands of the northwest coast and kuta beach on the island's south coast

further inland, large parts of the island are still heavily forested and retain their natural beaty. large expanses of jungle and forest areas easily accesible for trekking and exploring;wateefalls; rivers;hills and mountains provide myriad opportuities for eco-tourism. the southern slopes of the rinjani mountain range, as well as the Rinjani National Park in the north, are forested in old standsof mahogany and hardwoods, interspersed with natural jungle vegetatio, rivers and stunning water falls
